I just bought a new internal Seagate IDE hard drive, but i cannot install windows XP on it? - seagate internal hard drive

I try to install a fresh copy of Windows XP Professional on the new disk, but the above Windows Setup does not recognize the hard drive of your computer and can not continue with the installation ..... Very Urgent PLEASE HELP! 10 points for those who have the best answer ..........
